This procedure is
applied for the tehnical in cleaning Floppy Drive in the PC

Instruction
1.
Carefully take apart the cassing from wear Floppy piece
screwdriver hours, remove and store in a cleancloth.
2.
Wipe with a cotton swab, moistened alcohol, rub in one
direction perpendicular to the direction of the center outwards Floppy pieces,
evenly on all surfaces until the mushroom patces missig, do not pre too strong
cotton, an be carefull not to stick cotton stalk advance scraping bud magnetic
Floppy.
3.
If it s clean and dry with winds up to dry, then carefully
insert the Floppy into cassing cleaner, and computer readeble diskette ready.

Monitoring
1.
To cleaning Floppy Drive I need 35 minutes to do it.

And to maintain I need only 1 person

Corrective ction
Di so skette is damagedso as to make the head
can not read the data on the cylinder that is bad sectors
Solution:
Try to take a new Floppy diskette or another an
put in FDD, if another diskette can be read,then the first diskette is damaged
and could not be used again, sometimes the Floppy Disk Drive can not recognize
the incoming diskettes, Floppies due to the closed or protection. To open the
Floppy cover, slide the cover disk that resembles a small box, towards the
bottom, so that the diskette can be read.

Verifications and Record Keeping
1.
Tecnicians record the time, day, date the tools used, and
the corrective actions taken
2.
Recordings that have been made should have been stored for
up to one year.
